Any problems getting the steering wheel off? I have heard about some trouble getting that off. What about the airbag sensors. Any issues there?

that was one of the easiest parts. all you do is take off the negative on the battery. pop off the the front part of the steering wheel. Unplug the 2 yellow airbag wires, and take a 47 or 57 torx cant remember, and unscrew that one torx screw, and thats it. took maybe 5 min tops.

I have total confidence in disassembly and reassembly of just about anything. But James, you have some brass ones when it comes to wielding a Dremel. I'd be afraid of disfiguring my ride...LOL.

Did you give any thought to swapping out for a '12 dash while you we're at it? I was considering an '11 and a dash swap was high on my list.

Let me start of by saying the install its self was not that bad....But, theres a million little screws that need to come out and finding all of them and being able to reach them is the tricky part. Then remembering what harnesses go back where because there are so many. Also, this is definitely a 2 person job, you will need another person helping you remove the dash without a doubt. It took us from 5pm to about 11:30 to install it, and even tho it was tricky at times, well worth it.

Thanks again to Ofer at Gen5diy.com for such a good HUD, harness, and all things needed to install this with a glitch. And, my buddy Bryan a fellow Camaro5 member who helped me with this install.

(don't mind that rats nest of wires in the center those are for my aftermarket touchscreen radio)

Great job! I would be so scared to take apart my entire dash just because I would be scared I wouldn't know how to put it back together!
