Car broken into at Gym

Well, I was running on the treadmill at the gym upstairs yesterday, around 4pm, keep in mind the entire gym has glass walls. Im about at mile 4 in my run, watching the tv screen attached to the treadmill. I can see the entire parking lot if I look past the tv. So, a commercial comes on, I glance in the parking lot, this is when I notice a gold honda ridgeline with a donut as a front drivers tire.

He was driving very slow thru the lot. Then he would park, get out of the truck, and get back in and he did this twice. I saw what he was wearing, he had on a blue shirt just like the people that worked at the gym so I assumed that he worked there and was making sure no one left valuables in their cars. WRONG, he drove off, and they made an announcement that 2 cars had been broken into. Which I couldnt see any of it, because he blocked my view by parking infront of the cars he bashed the windows of.

Lucky none of them were my car, thank god. But one kid had his wallet stolen and the other his $200 sunglasses stolen. And, this was in the suburbia of Dublin, Ohio where the least expensive car in the lot was my camaro, in the middle of the day.

Point of the story, dont leave valuables in your car ever. Your just asking to get it ripped off.

Damn man, yeah Dublin is one hell of a city. Well most of it. That's surpising to hear. Glad your stuff didn't get taken.

Glad to hear they didn't do a jack move on your car but is sucks for the victims. Thieves should die miserable deaths imo.

and more importantly, don't leave them where people can see them. always put it in the trunk.

me too, and yes I have a touch screen but I bought this $20 beauty a while back on ebay, and use it everytime I park, its a fake double din cover. thats not my dash, but thats how it looks on
