After C7 delivered to house now what?

Ok, so the dealer from across the state will deliver to my house for no charge. This means i get no seat time with a Corvette expert to 'splain it all to me. Now what?

What are the things I need to do/learn ASAP ???
Gimme your top 5 things i better learn or take care of ASAP.

Get in drive it. All you need to know is no key just push the start button have FOB with you though. When you get home open the glove compartment get books out read front to back. Also available online. I got the first C7 delivered to the Bay Area 1 year ago and when I asked the dealer to show me how to do things he just looked at me and said this is the first C7 that we have seen also.

Tell em' that you appreciate the offer, but you wanna pick it up and drive it!! Your signature line says you are in Central Florida, so it should be a nice 2-3 hour drive to get familiar with your new girl

Drive it, drive it, then drive it some more! The only good way to learn about it is to experience it. Yes, the manuals are great for the more obscure stuff, but until you experience it first hand, the knowledge is only "skin deep". Driving allows you to know it to your core.

yeah, but the questions people ask here are on the obscure stuff!!!....LOL

get a drink, turn on the car, not the engine. (push start without foot on brake or clutch) and get the book out. Push every button and look it up, there's no other way to figure it out. Take an hour and it'll pay you back in spades...download the infotainment manual too, if you did not get that.

Let it sit in the garage, collect dust, and never see the sun.

That way you're "saving it for the next guy".

I can't even fathom why some Vette owners never drive their cars. Why save it for the next guy?

I have just shy of 24,000 miles on my Stingray right now. My 1-year anniversary of delivery is Oct. 4. I have driven her literally every day since that happy day and regret not one mile! Tadge and crew designed and build these cars to be driven, not to be placed on a pedestal and admired from a distance.

I have to agree with Glen, grab a cold one and sit behind the wheel with manual in hand and enjoy. You will be glad you did. What you don't understand ask it on here as there are many who have passed this way and have learned by experience.
Enjoy, the C7 is definitely made to be driven so by all means drive drive drive.
