ZL1 gets the thumbs up everywhere!

I never thought this car would draw so much attention. I work with about 160 people on my sales floor and am cool with most of the guys. Everybody comes up to me and says how nice the car is or how they can hear "the monster" coming back from lunch from down the street. One guy even pulled my leg hard enough to get me to enter the annual AAA employee car show (he drives a CL55 AMG). Today I got on the freeway home from work and a blacked out V10 audi R8 pulls up beside me and we dice it up a bit before hitting traffic and this " jersey shore" looking dude rolls down his window at about 50mph and asks "how much POWER does that thing have?" I TOLD him: "580!" He shouts "nice car man! " and speeds off into the carpool lane (illegally) it made me smile because he was driving a $160k car and I was in a $60k camaro...I think GM hit a homerun with this car.

Anybody else get tons of good feedback in their ZL1?

Can't say anything about the feedback but you would have to be crazy or blind to not see the ZL1 is a beautiful car.

....agreed....it's a true announcement on the road I can say. I don't see it when I drive because I am so focused behind the wheel, but my co-pilot wife tells me all the things she see's regarding people in cars or elsewhere when we drive. It's quite a tribute to the ZL1 and what it portrays.

It's a head turner that's for sure. I live in a rural area, but when I go to the "city" I love watching people stare at my Z.

I am fixing to be that big fish in a small sea....my home town is 20k, and 8.5k of those are inmates! And no, I don't work at a stinking prison...So soon, I will be turning heads. Without a doubt my car will be not only the fastest, but the coolest and most refined car people here see on a daily basis. My town has a few base model vettes, but we have seen those forever...I admit it, middle age crazy is a dang good period of life!

I was driving down the main drag in Marina Del Ray CA around noon when I stopped at a stop light. I was the first car stopped. The car turning left off of the cross street from my right side, stops his car midway through the intersection in front of me, and a guy in the back seat sticks half his body out the drivers window and starts taking pictures with a cell phone. Everyone else is waiting behind him! People are crazy about this car.

I like this thread.....My wife and I pulled into a Quik stop to grab a soda and lotto tickets and when we were getting back to the car this guy comes walking out and trips over the parking curb and falls on his face, he gets up and he just keep saying "I can't stop looking at that car, I just want sit and look at that car" He pick up his stuff and almost fell again... we were like HOLY CRAP!!!! Yeah this car gets looks
