Exclamation spring spacers are MIA!

So after a week of waiting for my out of state dealership to release the car (fed ex to document signing company took forever!) I finally picked up #80 today. I did a courtesy delivery to Connell Chevy in Costa Mesa, CA. I felt comfortable using them because the have 3 ZR1 vettes on the floor (1 is a centennial edition) so I figured they knew what they were doing. I immediately notice the swirl marks on the car--but this may have been from sitting in the QC lot (looks like I will be clay bar and waxing soon)--and I jump in and open the glove box to find BOTH SPRING SPACERS missing! I thought the dealer was supposed to put them in the glovebox during PDI how hard is it to follow simple instructions!?

Anybody else have this happen? Oh my car is AGM with ECF insert...looks mean. I wanna black out the lights and emblems ASAP! radar detector and mirrortap going in tomorrow

I didn't see any yellow spacers in the front springs so I say they did, plus the front doesn't look abnormally high

Weren't the original ones black? Just incase you were only taking a quick look for yellow.

I was at the dealer when they took mine out and the tech started to throw them in the trash. I stopped and told him that they go to the me; the customer.

This. Early production spacers were black. They switched to yellow later in hopes that the yellow would catch the dealers eye during PDI.

I never got any spring spacers with mine...I didn't even know they were supposed to give you them? I had to buy mine off the lot (11 months ago), so i don't know if that makes a difference or not? Is there a way I can still get some?

gmgdave, did you notice how / where they jacked the car up to remove the spacers?

They put it on the lift and used the the location for lifting as the regular camaro. Pads put just behind front wheels and just in front of rear wheels.

I had to request mine from the dealer then had to sign a paper saying that the dealer had removed them. They told me that GM had sent out a memo telling them not to give the blocks to the customer for fear that the owner may put them back in and attempt to sue saying they hadn't been removed. So if you didn't get yours then you better get on it bc they may refuse to hand them over.
