Emissions are all the same in new cars. The codes are still on the system as part as old distinctions. But all cars a 50 state emmissions.

Yes, emissions are the same but, California requires that stupid little sticker. I haven't lived in Cali for quite a while but doesn't it cost more for it to be certified for California?

You're lucky to find it for MSRP in Arizona. I have contacted almost every big dealership here and nothing south of Phoenix is available. And most dealerships in the Phoenix area are charging over MSRP.

no, and no sticker that I know of.
But taxes are substantially higher than most states.

I'm pretty sure there has to be a sticker under the hood that says it meets California emission regulations. I could be wrong though.

Yes i just spoke to three dealerships outside of cali and they cannot sell to cali buyers due to cali emissions control. There is a sticker that states not for sale in california. Go figure, now we cali folks are going to have to pay mark up. San jose dealer wanted $20k mark up

I found one dealer here that will do $10k and could talk down to $5k. Waiting on a few call backs from other dealers to see if they have allocation and what their markup is. Seems all Cali dealers are charging mark up? Anyone in Cali now of any open allocations at close to MSRP? Please PM me.

For those of you looking for a ZL1, don't be afraid to look out of state. I live in Socal and Dan assured me I could have the vehicle drop shipped directly from GM to my local dealership (COURTESY DELIVERY) and the fee shouldn't really be more than $150. I've already found a dealership right next to my work (CONNELL CHEVY) that can do $150 courtesy delivery
Hey bud, how are you getting around the cali emissions requirements buying out of state. I called several dealers in other states and they can not sell to cali people due to cali special emissions? Did you ask your dealer if they can sell to cali?

Did you call any dealerships in Bakersfield? I only ask because that's where I'm from.

There's only one dealership in Bakersfield, and there's very few salesmen that I would trust.

69NMYSS: I would talk to Eric (sales manager) at 3-way. But I doubt they would sell them for MSRP, and I can bet they already have their allocations spoken for.

For your sake, I wish I did. I haven't lived there in over 10 years.
