Does anyone make an aftermarket blower for the ZL1, CTSV, ZR1 yet? GM makes it alot harder as the blower is upside down compared to ford. I sure somebody has to be working on kits for a twin screw bolt on.

So as I am reading the info so far, on the stock tires, the best time for the ZL1 was an 11.9, and best for 2013 GT500 has been 11.5. Correct??, seems pretty damn close.

Any official 0-60 times for the 2013 GT500 ?? Thanks, Erik

Most are saying that the tune on the 2013 is quite safe. They're predicting huge gains on just a tune alone. We'll see. A huge stink was made when the initial boost #'s came out on the 2013 because of the 2.3 upgrade for the 11-12's.

A few different things. The inlet elbow on the 2013 is smaller than the one that will come with the TVS and the tune is a big one. Might be some more little things but dont know. The 5.4L might react different to the TVS than the new 5.8L too. But yeah, on a bone stock 2011-2012 car with just the TVS kits alone are getting anywhere in the 620-660+ rwhp and tq range. Its just insaine!!!

The TVS is a much better fit than the Whipple. Plus im not going over 17 PSI so i dont need the Whipple. The TVS runs a bit cooler too. The TVS also gets alot more low end TQ too.

OK, so we know with a hot lapped car, the best times consistently with a pro driver for the GT500 were 11.8 on stock tires.

What were the consistent times by a pro driver for the ZL1?? This should be easily available info for this car, it's been out a little while. Anyone?? Thanks, Erik

Lol. No I am not devious stang nor that childish. I was actually probably one of the few buyers out there who was cross shopping the zl1 with the shelby. I like both cars a lot, but I'm an actual car guy not a chevy fan boy and not a ford fan boy.

I ordered the shelby because its just a better car in all factors, besides I guess tech if you want to talk about active exhaust, steering, and MR. But that's the only thing the zl1 is better in.

Now the times are out and like I said the debate is over. Both are great cars but now we know which is the better one.

Shit if I could afford a new GTR I would just buy that.

I am not a tool nor a troll I have been on this forum for a couple weeks telling people how cool their zl1s are and other questions about cars. Again I'm actually a car guy not the type who has a stick up their ass because their drinking the koolaid and now there is undeniable proof their car is inferior.

I still don't think anyone not named or part of GM has pushed out a stock ZL1, on stock rubber in under 12.0 ish, not counting "corrected" times or with one foot rollouts. Every test has had it around the 12.2 on average, with about a 116 trap.

Ive heard a best of mid 12's and higher for a pro driver on street tires. GM is saying they did a 11.9 on stock tires but theres a guy on here that witnessed them do it on a fresh pair on Nittos bc they were determined to get a 11sec pass out of it. There is NO proof of this pass other than CLAIMS. Where as yesterdays events for ford are well documented and im sure will be published with PROOF!

One could try to make it seem like a close race based off of et's which the Shelby has only had a SINGLE day to perform. But the trap is where the answers are!

ZL1= 116-119mph?
GT500=121-129mph!

Thats HUGE!!!
