Thumbs up 92 Drag Star Bracket Racer Drag Pack Installed

Huge S/O to my main man John Ryan and setting me up with a budget friendly Metallic Grey drag pack for my 6th Gen.

Rear: 17x9.5 Drag Star Bracket Racer
Front: 17x4.5 Drag Star Bracket Racer

I wrapped these rims with 26" Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R and Hoosier DR2 315/35/17 tires.

No issues with rubbing. No issues with lugs either. Rims fit perfect.

If you ever need a set of drag rims, John Ryan (Pro Stock John) is your man to contact!

Looks really good man.

I really want to try a shorter tire when mine are worn out

Nice man. The DS's look great on your car. That should have dropped some more weight off your car from the previous set up.

Yes 26 out back. So far so good. I've heard that Hoosiers need 8-10 passes before they really start being effective. So shall see.

I'm not a fan of that short of rear tire. Mine are 28" tall and wouldn't have it any other way. I like it to fill the fender well and I think you get more consistent 60ft time. I do run a slick and not a drag radial.

Wonderful. I like the shorter tire and it works for me at my current power level. This is nothing but a lil mild bolt on car. My 60fts are consistent as hell, no matter what track I run at. Ran at Fest last week, and my 60fts mirrored my 60fts up here in MD. I could care less how the tire looks in terms of filling up the fender well, all I care about when it comes to performance items, is does it work. I run a 28in on my 5th Gen. As for the 6th Gen, even when I do Heads Cam, I will still run the shorter tire.

I plan on trying a 26. If I can get into the 1.5s 60 ft I'll drop another tenth or two. I don't give a damn how it looks at the track

From what I've gathered I'll have to spend the cash on 26 for the front as well? If not I'll have abs problem or something ?

Your car does rock and yes is was consistent as hell at the fest. It was nice meeting you there also. Its just all preference, mine is consistent with my package and so is yours. We both have the race stars which is a pretty cool combo in my opinion, nothing like saving 100lbs of rolling mass. Maybe I'll see you at the ls fest
