Race Star Fitment

Mounted the 95 Recluse 4.5 x 17" wheels on the front today and there is plenty of clearance.

Has anyone mounted a M&H 325 x 17" tire on a Gen 6 yet? I am afraid they will be too wide. Thanks.

Would I have to run an 18" wheel on front? I have 6 piston calipers and am not sure what will fit up there for skinnies

Gonna be tight but they might work. Have a customer running 305 MTs which are pretty similar in size on RS 17x9.5s.

I think 305/45/18 is too tall a tire for these cars, it's a 28.5 tall tire and stock you are more like 27.5 or 27.0...

Mine are 17's and 28x10-17 Hoosiers and plenty of clearance. If I go to a drag radial someday I'll run a 305 M/T

I put the skinnies on and did some high speed driving to check balance and drivability.

Should be the same as my 6 piston upgrade. According to race stars their 17s will clear

So the new 1LEs have different calipers than the regular SS? That was not the case with the 5th gen.

Before you buy 18" skinnies, make sure you have good tire options. With the 5th gen guys since they need to run 28.x tall tires, the problem is tire selection. I've only found 2 tires and they are both bias ply.

yeah the new 1LE has the 6 piston brembo in the front so its bigger for sure.. im not sure if the 17s would fit it.. I had 17s in the rear on my 5th gen so I should have no problem transferring those wheels to my 17 1LE
