Can't get much closer than that...

When I finally decided to make the leap and purchase a new Stingray, I went to several of the local dealers finishing my rounds at the dealer which I have previously purchased several vehicles and have been extremely satisfied with their customer service.

They had a car on order that went 3300 status that day. It was equipped exactly as I would have ordered it, Z51, Mag ride, Exhaust, Auto, Black on Black with Black wheels.

I made a deal and bought it. Then the question. How long before it arrives?

They told me 5 weeks you'll be behind the wheel.

Well, it showed up at the dealership today and is being prepped for delivery.

Tomorrow is 5 weeks to the day that I made the purchase.

It may be coincidence, but I'll chalk it up to great service....

I'll post pics to help you decide as soon as I get my hands on it.

A bit of bad news. I just talked with my dealer and it came in with a nail in the tire and they won't have a replacement until Monday, nor another C7 to steal one from, so looks like my weekend is going to suck royally!

Okay, so no delivery for me this weekend. There are 9 of the Michelin runflats available in the distribution chain and we can't have one here until Monday. Since the tire was damaged by the transport company they don't want to mess with even pulling the big a** screw or whatever the heck is in the tire for fear of not getting the claim paid. They also are adamant about not letting the car leave the way it is.

As much as it sucks, I think they are correct, and have tried everything they could to get it out the door. Can't blame them for the transport companies error.

It sure does. I think it actually makes the car look more compact. They all look good IMO.
