Congrats on the new truck..........I bought the one with the plastic interior.

Not bad for a basic truck- 24 MPG highway.

I already have a Toy, I needed a Family vehicle, the Hell cat is sweet, but the next toy to sit next to my 2000 WS6 will be a z06

I really like the look of the 2014 Silverados but I can't believe how expensive trucks have become. Even the stripped out Silverados (similar to what LStick has....no offense) are $26K-$29K. I played with the thought of trading in my 2004 Silverado for a new truck but the price turned me away immediately.
I'm curious to see what the new Colorados are going to be like.

I LOVE the way the Z71 looks. I may be interested in a short bed/regular cab Z71. I'd have to take it out for a drive. They look great! I love that front end.
I did take out a Ford Tremor FX4 fully loaded out for a drive yesterday. Man that was a nice interior, but the ride really wasn't so great in my opinion. I think my 9 year old Ram rode smoother than that truck.
Also,...that ECOBOOST?? It's alright. It's not all it's cracked up to be, in my opinion. I bet my Ram would give it a great race, even with almost 71k on my Ram.
Nice truck OP. Congrats and enjoy.

Post a pic of it. I hear the next generation will be in 2018 for the silverado. Will be a good time to replace my 2010

Yeah okay, cause the Hellcat will be great for towing with it's 1000 pound tow rating.

No offense taken- I wanted a BASIC Longbed truck- thats what I got.
I managed to find one of the older build '14s, built before the price hike last October. MSRP 24700.
By the time I got done arm wrestling the sales manager I picked the stripped one up for $21k OTD. That was with the Cobalt recall EVA discount, a private offer and incentives.
The later build versions of the same truck are over $27k sticker. You can find them advertised around $23k. Still a LOT of money.
