MSD+ROTOFAB+GRANATELLI WIRES

Hey, everyone just wanted to share my latest bolt on set up and Dyno numbers. I swapped out my ported lt1 manifold with the 95mm t/b and AFE cold air intake. We went with and MSD/95mm and Roto-fab. Car picked up and additional 14hp/5tq. Not very impressed in all honesty. However, while on the dyno I swapped out my ignition wires with a set of Granatelli's and car picked up an additional 4/4, which I though was pretty impressive considering I already had holly wires on there. That's insane!! total gains 18hp/9tq.

See dyno video here:

https://youtu.be/ydK14-oJBYU

First picture is base line of the msd/rotofab against ported lt1/95 and afe
Second is zoomed in to show the power loss down low. Just a bit, nothing to crazy
Third picture shows base line in green, msd/rotofab in red and wires in blue. (final #'s all dialed in)

Tuner was Kike fab and tune in Baldwin park.

Nice can you post of a copy of the chart?

Did u ever take off the Holly’s and reinstall them? I notice a lot of times the wires can’t handle getting yanked on

Yeah ill post the chart here shortly and No, I kept the granatelli's. Don't think ill get back in there for a while. But definitely a good idea to test the ohm resistance in a few thousand miles.

I think that is a massive gain since you are going from a great combo to even better. Too bad we could not see where most of the gains were from. The MSD or the Roto-Fab.

Looking forward to the dyno and seeing the MSD performance down low.

Good to know you saw a gain with just the Granatelli plug wires, I have a set to install with a bunch of other mods. I damaged a boot when I originally installed the Whipple. And since I am doing headers I figured its the perfect time for new plugs and wires since I am right there.

Tuned sir, and no I didn't port the msd. I think it will definitely net some power as there is plenty of flashing and excess material in the runners. check out the install video of the msd where I show this excess material.

Yes that isn’t great looking... I can see how a port job is a benefit if you can afford it

Can't really tell a difference down low but feels stronger on the top end. It drives good, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Just the entry level wires from Granatelli. They have multiple color combinations.
