Strange, my mirror doesn't look anything like yours! So what cool gadgetey does it have hidden inside?

Oh, it's a Broadway optics 220mm wide view mirror. I'm not a fan of the OEM "zoomed in" rear view mirrors.

I received my Blendmount for Valentine 1 yesterday. As promised, here's a few pix of the install:

First, everything comes pre-assembled. The hardware in the bag is spare (see photo 1 below). For the V1 install, reuse the suction cup mount, which bolts to the Blendmount with supplied hardware (see photo 2 below). Following the included instructions, the bracket clamps to the mirror post (see photo 3 below - view is from underneath, passenger side is to bottom of photo). Photos 4, 5 & 6 show the mount in place, with the V1 installed. I used the supplied zip tie to hold the power lead to the bracket so it doesn't dangle when the detector is removed. So far I'm very pleased with the product. The quality is excellent, and I no longer need the annoying suction cups!

Thanks to Bluray_Z51 for the discount!

I needed to get my more forward and up higher behind the mirror. With a trip to the hardware store for some long 6-32 screws and 2 white plastic bushings...here's the result!

Looks good John. Was this done to hide the radar detector more or to boost GPS reception?
