Double Din/Metra Install
Hey guys - gonna put in a Kenwood DNX7140 with the metra kit. Anybody install a NAV themselves, and a metra kit? I know my way around a car, just don't know what the difficulty level on this is. Thanks!

Have no problem finding the metra install, it's the NAV I need to know more about....

What you need to know? I just put a pioneer navi in mine. I'm not just gonna tell you to "search". What are you having issues with? I will give you one good tip. Mount your antenna for the navi on the dash in the middle. Like this:
   It's a pain in the ass to run the wire through the dash but it's worth it. Also, I ended up adding an additional ground because mine had a small amount of alternator whine. Also, if it doesn't play all four speakers, you'll need to get the metra control unit updated.
