Just signing on having just purchased a closeout new 2017 Watkins Glen Grey C7. Had a 1967 Stingray I bought used when I was in flight school ages ago, only had it for 9 months and moved into Porsche 911 shortly after graduating. Have always admired the form of the Corvette over the years but could not pull the trigger for one reason or another.

Have owned a 1966 Chevelle SS since 1973 that belonged to a good friend. It was a beast of a car with the 396 360 HP L78 4 speed and no brakes or suspension.

After several test drives and 3 years and hours of should I resto-mod the Chevelle or go with the C7 ... The Chevelle now belongs to my son and I have a new C7.

Currently living in the Santa Clarita area but originally raised in South Louisiana. Will be in SoCal for another year or so before wife and I head back to spoil the Grands on more perminant basis.

Would enjoy meeting up with other owners and gain some insight and knowledge into this amazing machine.
