It'll work for smaller agencies that have only a few square miles of jurisdiction. I'd guess those agencies would have to compensate their officers to recharge at home or install fast chargers at the station.

My agency though? Not a chance in hell. Between the area we cover plus our scope of enforcement and pursuit policy, we'd drain the battery to uncomfortable levels every shift.

Exactly my thoughts. That small town would have to have very little to no crime as well.

Same thing with my agency, there's no way. Pretty sure a while ago I read you work for the state. I know we don't share the same pursuit policy. We are just a busy busy agency. The agency is within the top 10 largest counties in FL. A friend of mine that worked a busy district would fill up his explorer 3-4 times a shift.

Are they not letting people touch the Colorados/Canyons?? Hopefully just not the highest trims… and hopefully there were lower trims available to touch…

Don't think the Silverado EV had that quilted leather seat pattern.

Gonna be a very nice interior. and it should with probably a $120k+ price point.

Keep in mind these price points are the top-o-the-line +kitchen sink versions. The more normal trims roll out over the next year or two. Hummer EV Launch Edition was $111k. Over time they will roll out trims at $90k, 80k, and $75k. Expect similar approach for Silverado EV and Sierra EV.
