6LE Muffler Deletes with Double Walled SS Tips...

Thanks to Derek (transambandit) for the use of his GORGEOUS 2010 CGM 2SS we developed a muffler delete today that uses 4" DOUBLE WALL stainless steel tips (only other company that makes these tips is Magnaflow and DEALER cost is $150 EACH). Still setting up the jig for production so I don't know pricing yet but we'll offer them with and without tips in aluminized or stainless steel piping and will come with all the clamps so Joe Blow can do this in his own drive way...

Here's some sound clips...

Here you can see our new splitter as well...

Thanks again Derek! If you're interested in buying just go to our site www.6LITEREATERDESIGNS.com click 2010 Camaro and Exhaust. You'll find we our priced lower than the competition but the quality is the same if not better

Thanks for looking !

Looks and sounds good, but I would caution you here. Not too long ago another company was doing the same type of thing. When I saw the prices I was like . They were charging a price very close to what I could get a Magnaflow Comp series axle-back setup for. There was no way I was going to pay that much for a non-mandrel bent, non-stainless muffler delete set-up. I could go to my local muffler shop and get it done for half the cost. You're competition is not the big guys but the local muffler shops.

Just a word of advice.

My local muffler shop did mine and used the factory tips but rotated them so they look better and only charged me $80...

I feel you. When I started to get this made I thought the same thing. Then when all of it is added up, unfortunately this is the price.

My business is not my source of income. I'm actually a working actor (you can see me as "Officer Blake" on General Hospital and recurring on this season's Scare Tactics) and run an apartment complex.

I make and sell car parts just because I enjoy it. I tack a little profit on just to put money back into making new parts.

Long story short, my exhaust guy is paid, jig is paid for, etc... so if they sell they sell if they don't they don't.

The part that makes mine more expensive (cost wise for me) is:

All American Made (I could farm the tips over seas and pay $30 instead of $100 but F that)...

Mandrel Bent (so of course they charge me more)

Stainless Band Clamps (cost 5 times a normal u clamp)

Not to mention paypal fees etc... SO, without a doubt, a local shop could do it cheaper but for those who want to do it themself in their driveway I'm trying to offer the cheapest alternative possible.

Or someone who wants the shop to do it but wants to know they have quality parts on their $40,000 car...
