3 YRS AGO TODAY TOOK DELIVERY OF THE HWAY STR!!!

Time flies by doesn't it Donna? It was three years ago yesterday (May 18, 2009) that I ordered mine sight-unseen; hadn't even seen IBM. The next 3 months were spent anxiously waiting, checking the build codes, hounding the forum watching and reading all the stuff on the "new" Camaro.

Here's what Blue Angel looked like when I picked her up (I asked them not to wash it so they wouldn't put swirl marks in it):




And here's what she looks like a couple weeks ago at the track:




Love this car. Best car I've ever owned. And I may be a bit biased, but I feel we have the best owners/drivers and forum on the internet. You were a big part of those early days with greeting so many of the new members.

Glad to see you're still just as enthusiastic about your Camaro, because I know I sure am with mine. Grats Donna!!!

I was at the "Cruizin Ocean City Md" 3,000 car cruise (see mid atlantic group) this week-end, and
saw another 5th gen with your exact plate: hway-str. I thought it was you but it was a MD plate.

Lots of 3 year birthdays happening right now.

My car is 3 years old with 20K miles. I've driven my car almost every day for the past 3 years and I'm still loving it. My car still feels like it brand new to me.

I agree with you that the car still feels brand new to me too...just as happy and excited as when I first took delivery!!!

Thanks Doc...I ordered mine sight unseen too, because I placed the order before production began...I had never seen one in person, sat in one, or driven one...

I have to say once again that this car is the happiest car I have ever owned and driven in my life

I remember those early days as everyone started getting their cars after the 'waiting patiently and anxiously' to join the ' happy owners' club'

I've missed you Doc, but I'm never far away...I may not post as much as I used to, but I still check in everyday to see whats new...

LOVE LOVE LOVE your Blue Angel...you have outdone yourself with the awesome additions to what was already perfection...hope you enjoy many more miles and smiles in your car too!!!

Wow, another HWAY STR...hmmmmmm...wonder if it was someone on here that liked my choice...too bad you didn't get a picture of it...I am honored to share the title with another Camaro!!!
