EPA Emissions Performance Testing

I received a letter from GM yesterday about EPA testing my Camaro. At first it was a flat no, then...hey, might be interesting.

About two weeks on a dyno, a rental car and a few bucks for the trouble.

Anyone ever gone through this?

Two weeks on a dyno? Hell no.
Let them buy a used one to beat on.

I can't imagine EPA testing would be WOT runs all day long. But yes, it seems odd that they can't just get a hold of a used car without sending letters out to registered owners.

They said it would accumulate 80 miles on the indoor stationary dyno. I'm thinking the time is to go through the car.

I'm back to thinking no anyway. In researching it the "lightly used" cars need to have at least 10K and I'm at 7.5. That won't be changing in the next few months.
