Consulting the Oracle
Some say he has a bow tie for a heart. Others say the Corvette sinkhole was just a sacrifice to him! Still others insist his first car at 16 was a ZR1...... All we know is........ HE'S CALLED THE FENWICKHOCKEY65!!!
Now that we have summoned you, I have a question. On the Cadillac forum we have been debating several things. I thought I would consult the guru for any and all insight. 1. Why are the new GM triplets (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade) taking so long to build their stock on dealer lots? Is it railcars, recalls, or a refresh?? 2. Is the Escalade going to receive a bunch of new options (360 camera, 4G Onstar, 8 speed, etc) before the 2016 model year?? 3. Will there be a Platinum(Escalade) trim introduced within two years or sooner?? 4. Is the V3 or ATS-V ever coming out?? |

What's funny is I saw this thread title and was like, "...is this for me?"
1) Recalls mostly, plus GM is being super careful with this launch as they basically own the full size SUV market and don't want that to change considering these things print money for the company. Our admin at GMI was supposed to get an Escalade press vehicle this week but they swapped it for a Sierra 2500HD to get the recall work done on the Escalade. Plus the SUVs that do make it to dealer lots seem to get snapped up pretty quickly. Demand's high right now. 2) Probably. 3) Yes. 4. CTS-V and ATS-V are on the way.
