Saying Goodbye Soon
Well its been a wild year, but before the new year I'll be saying goodbye to my SS. For several reasons I need to get in a four door/performance car. I wanted to see what you guys think I should do??
1. Lease a Premium ATS with MRC for 400ish a month? ($49,000) 2. Buy a used 2012 CTS-V sedan with 12,000 miles for $50,000 Or 1. Lease the new M3 sedan (Summer Release) for $$$$$$ a month? 2. Lease a 3 series similar to the ATS for similar monthly payments? Also if anyone has any of these cars, please let me know the pros/cons, glad you did or wished you had not stories. Thanks, I really appreciate and respect any and all feedback. I am driving myself nuts trying to decide and don't want to screw this up. |

#3 Wait until the Detroit Auto Show in Jan. to see the ATS-V. There are rumors of it possibly having 500hp

I think the new 3 series is just the 2 door version while the four door version is now the 4 series. its complicated. haha

!. Love everything about the Chevy SS, sans the exterior.
2. ATS-V sounds tempting, but could take awhile for it to hit showroom floors. 3. Yes BMW is confusing, the new M3 is the four door sedan and the M4 is the two door coupe. 4. Drove the CTS-V…. WoooW hard not to love it, but its 73K new and its running on its 6th or 7th year. |

If you plan on modding, don't lease.

I went from a bolt-on SS to CTS-V last year - no regrets. But I would look at the SS sedan if I were you. Great performance and electronics/infotainment are much better than CTS-V. ATS is nice but backseat doesn't offer a ton of room if that's important to you.

Chevy SS, with the right appearance mods could be a sweet sweet right, but stock, they look a bit bland to me. Just not a big fan of the look.
But the performance, and interior is there.

As with a lot of people I talk to, not a lot of love for the ATS. I never see them on the road and they just dont seem to sell. I have also noticed dealers near me really dont care for the new CTS and they to sit on the lot. If only the new SS was more agressive, I would be sold. I think in the morning I will pull the trigger on the CTS-V. Like the other poster said, I too wish it had a more modern infotainment center. That being said, I believe the V cars are the future Gran Nationals.
