How fast have you been in you Camaro? Where, why, how?

Fastest I have been on a dragstrip is 94 MPH.
And I try to abide by the speed limit as best as possible on public roads. However, in valdosta for pony wars... I hit my speed limiter of 118 on the Police Escorted cruise to the dragstrip. (It was a closed course, traffic was blocked off for us)

I got her up to 150mph...did not even feel like I was going that fast! The ride stays smooth no matter what speed, such an amazing vehicle.
 I'll add that it was on an airfield too so it I was not endangering others...

105mph. Just trying to get into a right lane that a turbo monte carlo was occupying. The driver of said car was hellbent on drawing me in. Rode side by side with me no matter how fast or slow I drove. I was on the cellphone with my job trying to talk business and I REALLY needed to get in that lane or an up-coming right turn. So I did what I had to do. 105 came up pretty fast, and honestly I probably didnt need to push it that hard. When I switched lanes, I needed my bi-focals to see his headlights. But I got where I needed to go.

110 was the fastest. Doesn't take long for it to get up and move. I would like to take it to a track where I can see how fast i can get it going...i care less about times.

when I first got her,
I was on the highway at 100 kph (62 mph) and I mashed the pedal to pass another car.Went to 150 Kph (94 mph) in a blink of an eye without realizing it. here the police have the power to impound your vehicle at 50 kph over the limit and charge you with careless driving. ever since then I leave the hud on permanently so that I know how fast I am going.

 With 43 other Camaros at Watkins Glen International and an escorted 3 lap tour at speed, I managed a 107mph with 3 people in the car, but I wasn't able to do full throttle. Car was amazingly stable at speed.
