If you are coming on here to bash and stir up the nest with how slow times are or how you just aren't sure if you really want to buy the car because it ran a slow time in 40 degree weather, or the fact that it could not beat a 100k awd car, then don't bother getting one. Tired of reading a bunch of trash.

Let us enjoy our ride to the top no matter how long it lasts.

EXACTLY!!!!!!!! I am getting a ZL1 even if is slower than a freaking Mini Cooper!!!

Is a beautiful car and performs extremely well and like you said - if you dont like it dont buy it!!!

That sounds really good to me. I am quite sure that in warmer weather and better drivers, the ZL1 will be consistent high 11's to low 12's. Enjoy the car and smile. Life is too short to always be looking at the worst it has to offer.

Agree here too.

Also want to thank the MODS who never get enough credit.

They do a great job cleaning up and taking out the trash.

I will be spending some time at Moroso(Palm Beach International Raceway) when I get mine. Sweat and pain until I hit the lowest number the stock car can achieve. How much are the tires again,,,,,lol.

One think I liked about the corvette forum was lack of trolls. I mean if the car is a pile of crap why are you wasting your time coming to this forum. that forum still had it status internal and bickering between Z06 and coupe and Zr1 owners. Maybe it is because stock vs stock the shelby guys just new to STFU as they just get blown away unless they up the boost alot and there is almost no mod to get them handling that well.

I don't go over to the mustang forums and just troll. I am a member there as I used to own one but what is the point.

I guess it is like the old saying you can lead the troll to water but you can't make him not be a douche.

You're never going to completely eliminate trolls from the internet..human kind hasnt even found a way to do it in real life as far as i know.

I for one am happy saying I'm still going to get a new Shelby even if the damn thing finishes slower than a '12 GT500 around the track... why?

I like it, it's going to be awesome, and I don't see any other new car out that is a Mustang that I like as much. JUST like the few of you guys who can actually afford a ZL1... so it lost to a GTR on the track... we all know that isn't going to make someone go "my gosh, the zl1 is crappy, im not getting it now"..

people hold numbers and statistics way too heavily.. sure it might not win a comparison you'd like it to win, but that doenst mean you like it less does it?
