The GT500 Axle hop is going to bounce that car all over the track and the driver will get an upset stomach, kinda like this thread! II

ZL1-Hood is designed to pull air off underside of front end as does the airfoil under the front end as well. In order for Ford to stay with the ZL1 on a track they need to copy the Chevy with a front pan under the car and a big change to the front of there car.
How is Ford going to copy this new car without looking like copy cats?

A. The ZL1 did not invent the underbody (or under engine) tray.
B. The GT500 has had one since at least 2010.

In reality, I paid just over 49,100 OTD for my 2012 with all the performance goodies (which is just the SVTPP).
It's funny that people think the 2013 GT500 will cost significantly more than the 2012 Model. My sister got hers for $60K CAD and it's a vert, she saved roughly $14K on it.

Looks like Al O may have put his foot in his mouth again.

Big claim to make without testing of both cars.

Are you referring to the obviously horrid engineering of the Vert Top? Yes I'm aware there are people that have no problems at all but there wouldn't be an uproar if it was a small percentage.

Nothing wrong with a little mud slinging between companies. For all we know GM could have modded a GT500 and added ZL1's MR suspension and tossed it around

You know what, I got my 5.0 beginning of last year, and I was really starting to think I made a wrong choice by getting a coupe. My girlfriend was looking for a company car, and she test drove a Mustang convertible last week, and it was the worst thing ever. Latches to undo manually in 2012? You've gotta be kidding me. And with the top down, the roof looked like a bunch of shit just dumped on the back of the car. It really made me happy I got a coupe, and I can really see where the import convertibles command the higher prices. I'm trying to get her to go test drive a Camaro convertible since the roof function and look are definitely a notch above the Mustang, but she doesn't want to hear any of it. She says the car looks too aggressive for her. She's looking at a 135i vert now...

And what a douche bag commercial by Ford. I swear, I avoided a dealership that is right by my house and drove 12 miles out of my way, only because they had a big banner that said "These cars weren't built with bail out money". I don't understand why one company would try and make the other company look bad on that level, and be jerks about people having their jobs saved. It pisses me off we just handed all the money out to the mortgage companies, but we made one of our biggest automotive brands beg for it. Not only that, they already paid it back. It's really under handed and classless. I'm glad someone at Ford had a half a brain to pull that ad.

Doesn't the Camaro have latches? must be the lower trim models with the Mustang, my sisters GT500 looks great top down of course that's with the cover on it.

Both companies worked on developing a six speed auto together too.

I can imagine the conversation like this:
Ford: Hey you want to work on another project again like the old days?
GM: Uhhh No. Remeber that bail out commercial you did. Yeah uhhh we didn't like that very much.

Click.
