looks are subjective, the 5th gen isnt that great looking to me, they are everywhere now as common as mustangs..I want the 6th gen to be lighter and smaller. I sold my car at a good price so i didnt lose much.

Not as common as Mustangs here...that said any car gets to be more "stale" over time. Hell, when I got my car in 2009 people looked at it like it was an exotic.

But as time goes on, thats what modding is for. Because of that, my car is still unique, and I think looks better than most other Camaros and Mustangs around my area.

and your right about looks being subjective, but I feel the 5th gen is absolutely beautiful.

Wow! You either had a lemon or suck at driving lol. Mine ran a good bit faster a couple days after purchase lol.

Yeah when I had my car it was an eye catcher (2011), now its as common as hondas and minivans...but I sold it mainly because it wasnt as fun for me anymore. Nothing was wrong with it, I just got bored of it.

I love my Gen5. I am waiting for the Gen6. If the Gen6 has AFM with the manual trans (most likely a deal breaker for me), I may keep the Gen5 or check out the Mustang at that point. OTOH if AFM kicks in only in top gear (7th?), I could probably live with that.

True, But the the 5th Gen won best design every year! But I can bet ppl want gravitate to the 6th Gen or like it better than the 5th Gen ! Actually, I'll bet you money that the 6th Gen won't win best design! But yea, I understand you wanting a smaller and lighter camaro , even though the first Gen was the same size! I think that is what makes the Camaro and challenger unique! Though! Because you can get a 2 door with a 4 door size! Not like a typical 2 door ! But hey, you'll get a Camaro the size of a mustang, inside and out! When the 16's comes out!

I never really cared about best design or anything like that because looks are always subjective, hell I knew a girl who hated ferrari's..go figure, she liked vw bugs better Anyways, if chevy can drop 300 pounds and provide a better driving car I'll be ALL over it. Weight was a killer for my 5th gen, it felt too heavy to me, I loved the car otherwise.

Well, I it seems like looks isn't as big to you as it is for everyone else! I haven't met anybody that didn't like the 5th Gen look . But i know alot of ppl that didnt like the 4th Gen look ! Even though I like the 4th Gens ! But I'm guessing you think the $ 200,000 and up cars look better , than any car under a $100,000?

Anyone who thinks it's going to put out more than 450HP is dreaming. I personally don't see it going past 440HP but we will see.

My guess? Both the new Mustang and Camaro will be 3750 to 3850 and be similar in size and HP. If this happens it will be a toss up at the drag strip stock. I am getting tired of looking at Mustang taillights.
