It seems to me from the posts here there is not enough difference to make a difference between the rs tails and the non rs tails. As I posted earlier does anybody know if the factory was mixing them up like I read about.

And you get the larger tires and spoiler too. I agree a it's a deal in my mind.

It sounds like I will have a hard time telling if they installed the RS tail lights on my car when I go to pick it up. I wanted to do that because of the non RS ones being installed on some vehicles. But unless you're and expert on them I guess it will be difficult to know the difference just looking at them. Does anyone know if there is a tell-tale sign or part# on the lense the will identify them?

Im sure the aftermarket will come up with options for those who do not like the tail lights.

To the best of my understanding, the difference would really show up with the tail lights on. The darkened lenses should make the difference between this:

And this:

It's the "afterburner" effect that the RS tail lights give off. That's the bonus.

I absolutely LOVE what GM did with the tail lights!!!

BRAVO --

It is in my top 10 favorite things about the exterior of the 2010 Camaro.

That said, if any aftermarket company comes out with the lens configuration of the concept, such that the running lights / parking lights are lit like the concept picture and the brake lights light up the whole lens... etc. etc. I will buy a set in a heart beat.

I love the whole darn car. Taillights are what I would expect. THis baby has the heritahe look without being retro.

If ya wanted a new '69, they sell body kits which you can use to build your own.

I for one, think that the taillights are a nice touch to the RS package.

This car works for me!

I love the shape and design of the tails, I wish they didn't have the chrome ring around them though.

But then again then it would DEFINITELY look like a Corvette lol, so I guess the chrome pays homage to its own model line

Just remove the rings like I did if you don't like them. It is easy to do and you can just put them back when it's time to sell the car.

Did not know you could do this.

I wonder if there are holes that will show.
