I have the same model. I wanted to paint my calipers red to match my car. On the model, are the calipers / brake disks attached to the wheel?

They are, but you may be able to take them off(I tried pulling but felt like it was going to brake) I'm just carefully painting them through the spokes of the rims.

Items I'm painting:
Calipers
Wing/mirrors
Interior
Tail light(it was body colored for some reason)
Licenses plate

My question is where did you find the model with Z51 wheels? All the models I find have the "twist" wheels like the Premier Editions have.

I think they just make white and blue, but I thought I saw a red one somewhere.

Everybody knows you have to POWDERCOAT them as the paint just won't hold up to the brake dust and heat
