Quad exhaust with Solo jpipes installed

Finally tackled this job, did all the work myself. Please don't flame on my welds; i don't get much practice with thin stainless! This is also my first exhaust job. I can make a DIY if there's interest for it.

That's not a crossover pipe, it's a j-pipe to kill drone. I have a pair myself.

Nice job, JDB!

I do have a complaint with the ssclones tips (http://tips.byethost4.com/dualindividual.html) that are so popular here. The inlet diameter is advertised as 2.5", but this is what i got. It made for one heck of a gap to bridge with the welder, and made things hard to align as well. (but I'm a novice) Otherwise, they are very pretty tips.

Ask and you shall receive I couldn't put the camera behind the car because of all the wind tonight. (watch the trees outside the window) I warmed the car up before revving it like this.

Here's an old vid of the Solo's the day i installed them.

I have a question, why did you go with a J pipe on an LS3 ? I thought J pipes were designed to keep the drone down on automatics.

I think even an LS3 will drone at 1700 rpms with a straight muffler delete. LS3s have smaller resonators than L99s. Probably the biggest reason I chose jpipes over a muffler delete is because I didn't have a MIG welder at the time and I could install the jpipes myself. I couldn't be happier with the sound, inside and outside.
