Hi Becky! I'm getting some confusing info on my order status #RFXKPJ.

I have had two helpful forum members state to following...

Correct me if I’m wrong but like Laborsmith stated it’s most likely that your dealer doesn’t have the allocation, and this is why; even if there are constraints you should still move from 1100 to 2000 meaning the order has been accepted by GM, however it won’t go to 3000 (accepted by production) until the constraints are lifted for what you have ordered. My order was placed back in July, within one day my order went from 1100 to 2000 even thou there was a constraint that affected my order, when the constraint was lifted I went to 3000.

And...

If your dealer does not have an open allocation to enter your order into GM's Order Workbench, then you will sit stagnantly at 1100 until they finally have an available allocation for you. The dealership typically inputs a customer's order every Tuesday as long as they have an available open allocation that week.

If I'm still after months of waiting still at 1100, and I was told I have the first (#1) Allocation. whats your opinion?

Thank you in Becky

I am in this same situation, ordered August 20th and am still at 1100. I am next for allocation at my dealer and would have been allocated last week if not for the Z51 constraint so I've been leap frog-ed the last 2 weeks because my dealer is only getting allocation for non Z51 cars. I've been told as soon as they get permission to order a Z51 im up...which apparently the Z51 constraint might be in full effect up to Nov 24th.

Hi Becky, Any idea when convertibles will start production? Will the Z51 constraint further push this production into 2014 instead of Nov. 2013? Any info on RGFV91, Ohio would be greatly appreciated!

I think it also would depend on how many allocations there were to get. One dealer here had 3 allocated, and they have yet to get their first come up. My understanding was their planned allocation was to cover the first 6-9 months of production. If their allocation was for 3, then it might be 2-3 months in before they get the first.

Got a call from the dealer today. It has arrived! Too bad I'm 5 states away until tomorrow. Doh! Thanks for all your help, Becky. It made the whole process so much easier to wait on.
