Sure, how much money do you have? I think folks were hoping they'd lop off a cylinder and offer a diesel in the 3rd gen. Ultimately i'm betting you're more likely to see an EV before that happens. The 2.7 (let's hope HO announced in Silverado) will be there at release since it would be a great engine for a mid size truck.

2023 Canyon AT4.

Plus what appears to be a 2022 Silverado RST hiding in the back.

I noticed the stance on some of the other prior "spy" shots also. Although I prefer my Colorado over a Tacoma, the Tacoma does look nice with it's flatter stance, instead of a raked front end like my truck has. Yeah...I understand that under load, the rake helps keep the truck more level which is good. But it looks to me like the 3rd gens are going more for the Tacoma stance which I'm good with.

My guess is the delivery dates won't be delayed due to the chip shortage...lol

The contract calls for 200 Suburbans a year for the next nine years after 2023. I guess ICE Suburbans will be around for a while at least...lol

I mean, I already have the 2.8L turbo-diesel mini-duramax in my '20 Colorado...but that 3.0 looks nice

Nothing official from GM, but all indications are single engine, yes. So updated (now new) GMT 31XX platform and single engine. At least the 2.7 has TriPower technology yall

I mean if it's legit the 2.7T HO out of the 2022 full size trucks I'm good with it.

Agreed, it's more than enough for that truck and would probably force some changes from the competition.

It seems odd that gm would be reducing engine option in the C/C twins just as Ford is increasing options in Ranger. Apparently, the 2.3EB is staying as the base option, but the 2.7EB will likely be an option, while Ranger Raptor may receive the 3.0EB. Not to mention if any of those will come with a hybrid option, likely the 2.3.

The only reason GM made the change was because they have completely divested all holdings in Thailand. The 2.8L was manufactured in Thailand. There is still a 2.0D L4 produced at a plant in S. Korea that could possibly find its way under the hood of Colorado / Canyon. It has similar output to the 2.8D.
