I didn't think it could get any uglier, yet here we are. Looks like it fell off the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

Interior looks great though

About what I expected but the 6.2 is good to see. I do think they should have stepped up to 35s.

It will be more than that if it comes loaded like an LTZ.

Base LT TB Limited for 2022 is $53,695. Add the 6.2L for $2,495 and you're at $56,190 for a LT TB with cloth interior and no convenience 2 package. I think it will start at a minimum of $65k, before any extra options.

ZR2 Interior. Heated/Vented seats so it's definitely equipped like an LTZ.

You might be right, but it's down on power and likely capability compared to the Raptor. I figured they had to undercut Ford.

But how will it compare to a comparably equipped Raptor in price? A loaded Raptor is north of $80k and I think that one equipped close to how the ZR2 will be equipped is around $75k.

They're also not really going after Raptor or TRX with this truck. It's just a more capable Trail Boss.

They don't really HAVE to. They just need to cater to the GM loyal at first. Those that haven't bought a Raptor, Tremor, Rebel, TRX, etc. There are those will buy ONLY buy "their" brand regardless of what the competition offers, but do want to remain competitive.

Then after those buyers are sated, they can make improvements to try to lure others for conquest sales. It may seem short sighted but by catering to their core they can prove to the bean counters that there is demand. Then they can make larger changes down the line.

The ugly upper glovebox is finally gone.

Edit: It's actually still there, just disguised really really well now.

The one thing that folks ask me for most in regards to Trail Boss is LTZ equipment. GM would be smart to offer the regular Trail Boss in something higher than LT trim as well.

From TFLTruck's video, the only option on ZR2 is the Multi-Flex tailgate.

Damn I love that color! I've got a 2020 Trailboss that I planned on holding onto longterm but this may have me rethinking that. Only thing I don't like is the shifter, but I'm sure I'd get over that.

Oh, and only having 33's is BS. I've got 35's on my stock Trailboss suspension.

That struck me as strange.. I would think the sunroof would be optional as well. I know I don't want a sunroof.

It is nice it has the HUD, it is sad you have to buy all the safety nannies to get it.

Interesting Fact. I bought my 2021 Silverado LT Trailboss with the 6.2L back in December last year. It was delivered to the dealer in October. Since then, the same 2021 LT Trailboss with the 6.2L base price has gone up $900 and the Destination Charge has increased by $100. So the SAME YEAR TRUCK now costs $1000 more.

Tell me inflation is NOT here.

Very happy that Chevy retained the shifter! They made nice improvements to the Silverado. This is a very competent pick-up.
