Hey crew. Been crazy around here. Most recent was my sister having heart problems. She was hospitalized to get stents, then told she needed triple bi-pass & valves repaired & transferred to another hospital where they went back & forth about what to do for a few days before deciding to do stents after all. My one remaining aunt died, one remaining uncle fell & had a brain bleed but will be okay. My mother-in-law has to have surgery on her thyroid. Does the crap ever end? I am still back & forth about whether to sell my Camaro. It now runs good but I am just not having fun anymore. It just sits there. Like being all dressed up & no where to go. Anyway. Life goes on. I have my health & love being retired. How the heck is everyone else?

Well good to see your still around. Seems like there is a lot of us all in the same boat. My wife gone 2 months later my son is gone. I still can't get use to living alone after all those years together. My oldest son, neighbors, camaro friends in Upstate C 5 club. And all the friends I have in other car clubs, cruise, and all the car shows I went to this year.
I don't know what I'm going to do this winter for 6 months. Everyone out there please stay safe. And a good friend of mine with a summit white camaro just passed away last week from covic.

Hey there, wow I sorry you had all that going on and just seems to not stop! My prayers for comfort and strength and healing go out to you and your friends and family!!! This world hasn't been very nice lately and when you stack up all that on ya, it is down right hard to deal with for sure. At least you have your health and now a healthy running BEAUTIFUL Camaro after all that went wrong with her. My Camaro is my "Stress Relief", and when we go for a drive, it's just me and her!! Life goes on, for the most part and as they say, "this to shall pass", and it will, just sometimes takes a bit longer than we'd like. Enjoy each and every day you have, because we never know if tomorrow is gonna come or not. Go out and get in your Camaro and make your OWN fun, and be careful. God Bless you and wish you and all yours health and happiness!!

Hope everyone is well.
Put the cars back in storage till May , As i moved our 2008 F150 to take one camaro out of the driveway , it broke the drive line .. we decided we were not going to fix it that night .
I started to search for a new truck ,my wife uses the truck in the winter and her car during spring to fall . We were planning on buying a 2023 2500hd when the refresh was done on them . So i decided an 1500 would work till then . In a normal non covid world i would have ordered what i wanted . The 1500 refresh has next yr availability , but we can't wait and order and get delivery when ever next spring . I started searching gm dealers in a 3 hr radius from the house . Contacted approximately 30 dealers to see what is available due to chip shortage . Very little inventory , most everything on lots sold waiting for delivery . Car carriers delivering sold vehicles , people putting down payment on vehicles ordered from dealers sight unseen with delivery when ever .
My requirements that i wanted was a GMC SIERRA AT4 with the 6.2 engine and the 6ft 6 box . found some only when i called they were sold , advised if i want that combo i will most likely have to order. So a comprimise was needed , drop the 6ft6 box and get a short box . Found a couple through my search 2 hrs away , it had the running boards i like and was still available as it just came in late friday .. So got the deal done over the phone , had them change out the 20 inch rims and tires to snow tires and rims and tri fold hard tonneau cover . This week we are getting it rustproofed then i want the clear film on the front and hood . It is not driven to work by either my wife or i so gas mileage never came into thought about buying it .. i want a truck to be able to pull a enclosed trailer .

Gave some of the girls a bath today. Got all of the bugs out of their teeth. Note to self, work on designing a self washing car. Getting to old to get up and down like that anymore.

I agree that you should keep it, Ruby. If it meant nothing to you, you probably wouldn't even waste time posting here. I retired last January. Flying around on commercial airplanes for a living seemed crazier than ever. My Camaro sits a lot too. But I still enjoy keeping it clean and taking it on shorter runs.

But I would say, you probably couldn't find a better time to sell if money is a factor. I have probably the best reason to sell - since buying a new 45th LT, trading and leasing an SS, later keeping it and taking out a loan, I've been making 'some' kind of Camaro payment for 9 years! Still two more to go. But I have a nice, work-from-home side job and as long as that holds out, I'll continue to makes payments to watch it sit.

Hang in there, they're not going to let this go soon, as evidenced by the dubious timing, 4 weeks before Christmas, with the "scariest variant yet." Never mind it's too early to know much of anything about it, the goal is fear and misery. I find my Camaro a good antidote!

So far, I still have Ruby. Just can't find an SUV that I want. They are in short supply & I am picky. If I can't have what I want, then, NO. My sister is having open heart surgery at the moment. They put her through several procedures in the Nashville Hospital & wasted a lot of time & her health before going ahead & doing what her Clarksville doctor sent her to Nashville via ambulance for in the first place. It sounds like a pretty serious situation. She has been in surgery 3 1/2 hours so far. Pretty worried. Assuming she makes it through surgery okay, she will be in the hospital 7-10 days so will be in through the holidays but of course that is the least of our concerns.

My daughter quit her Gen Manager job with Ruby Tuesday's after 30 years with them. Just could not take it any more in today's world. She will be working training CBD shops on how to properly/legally dispose of expired products by new EPA rules.

I have been crafting, painting & prepping for Christmas & just chillin' a good bit. Not at all in the mood for holidays but ready or not, here they come. Hope everyone here is doing well. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year & happy What-ever-holidays, you celebrate.
