Any Owners Having Driveway Grade Issues?

Any Owners Having Driveway Grade Issues?

Looking to buy a Corvette within the year and have concerns about a steep driveway. Thanks.

My driveway, while not real steep, did cause my CTS to scrape a bit on the rolled curb. So naturally I was concerned about the C7. Prior to the delivery of the C7, I bought a curb ramp from bridjit.com. The C7 scrapes just a little. I got over this condition when I read a post stating that it is just a piece of easily replaced rubber that contacts the road.

I come into drive at an angle, one front tire hitting at a time and have never scraped. Backing out I angle slightly before the rear wheels hit the street. No problems so far.

Agree, at an angle both in and out works for me. I do scrap the rubber diffuses but it hasn't even done anything to them so far.

A lot will depend on the curb itself. Some are taller than others, and some are steeper or sharper than others. I've not had issues with mine, but as the others have mentioned, I take it at a slight angle. A buddy of mine has a slightly taller and considerably steeper curb than I do, and the rubber deflectors do scrape a little on his, even when approached at an angle.

I have to hit mine straight on going and coming. It took me a couple of months to figure out why I don't scrape entering (I hit it straight on) vs the heavy angle on existing which rubbed it good

I had a problem with my curb and angled driveway. When the neighbor down the street was getting a new driveway I went down and offered them a few bucks to put in a black top ramp over the curb. I still hit it at an angle but it is way better than it was
