Some guys just have all the luck, and Josh appears to be in that group. Case in point: he's got an Alfa that has been bulletproof from day one!

I look forward to being able to roll the dice a little bit more down the road. Unfortunately I’ve learned now is not the time to play my hand. Maybe a few more years and the sun peaks through this cloudy economy just one more time. I’ll be honest I’ve never ever in my life felt lucky enough to own an Alfa

I'm just wondering if this post is an indication that he's lucky his trans didn't break? Do these trans tend to be not very reliable?

Nooo you would have to read the whole thread. He’s just saying I have a little garage envy of Josh, and that Josh is lucky because some would say Alfas are notorious for issues.

The Alfa trans is very reliable actually. The guys are just joking that historically speaking, Italian cars are not known for their reliability!

After 4 years of trouble free motoring in the wife’s Alfa, we traded it in towards a new Mustang GT Premium. I love driving it, it feels like an old school muscle car but very tame when you want it to be. GM may be getting out of the muscle car game but I’m not.

Your 2017 Camaro still looks so much better than even the latest Mustang. What a wasted potential, sheesh GM.

Congrats to your wife (and you) nevertheless, as you said, it's still a muscle car
