6th gen hood?
Has anybody done a hood swap from a stock 5th gen to the new style 6th gen? Saw this and wondered if anyone had pictures.

Wanted to but that company is crap ( fitment and all pics renders ) and I need 2014/15 SS hoodlines as my new bumper has lines for them.

6th gen hood?
Quote:
Looks dope from a render but knowing duraflex its probably shit. I just hate my 5th gen hood especially the raised part I have circled in this photo of my camaro. . I would much rather the sleek, flat, U type shape of the 6th gen like this Compared to the flat with a hump in it like mine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

2014 SS/ Z/28 hood should fit and match lines as is I also like that hood so its the route Im going eventually. I was contemplating making one by filling the grill hole and then buying the 6th gen insert but I feel the 2014 hood is good for me. It'll match my new bumper lines. Here is my work in progress.

Currently stock hood for 2011 1lt but all hoods other than 2014/15 SS or 2014/15 Z/28 will have lines that are smaller in width.
