6th gen hood?

Has anybody done a hood swap from a stock 5th gen to the new style 6th gen? Saw this and wondered if anyone had pictures.

Looks dope from a render but knowing duraflex its probably shit. I just hate my 5th gen hood especially the raised part I have circled in this photo of my camaro. .
I would much rather the sleek, flat, U type shape of the 6th gen like this
Compared to the flat with a hump in it like mine.

Do you know anyone that has done this and can you provide me with pictures if so? I’m very interested.

There really is only one option for me luckily I like it. I seen lots of hoods that are better by amerihood but they'll all require I get my bumper lines modded to fit.

2014 SS/ Z/28 hood should fit and match lines as is
I also like that hood so its the route Im going eventually.

I was contemplating making one by filling the grill hole and then buying the 6th gen insert but I feel the 2014 hood is good for me. It'll match my new bumper lines.

Here is my work in progress.

2011 1lt rs with 6th gen style zl1 bumper, gen 5 diy ducted fenders and 2014 form factor 6th gen headlights.

Currently stock hood for 2011 1lt but all hoods other than 2014/15 SS or 2014/15 Z/28 will have lines that are smaller in width.

Thank you, your car looks great! Is that the ikon or duraflex front bumper?
