Perhaps a bad question but sone one has to ask.....will 3M tape alone hold these on? Looks like there would be alot of places to place the tape so be able to adhere it to the body...

You "could" but I wouldn't trust it to just tape. The OEM ones are all clips! No drilling required haha

I used 3m only on top portion so I wouldn't have visible drill holes. Just in case if I decide to remove them later on. I Riveted underneath. Two car washes later no issues.

I was at the dealership today and it looked like the zl1 rocker was overall bigger - taller and also wider. Hoping someone will show these allongside a zl1 and that I am wrong

The OEM ZL1's are all one piece rocker replacements.

This thread has some photos of the original vs OEM rocker and the process some of the guys went through to make them fit an SS.
