Peak Speed Shop Radical Ported Intake

Ok, this is an old thread, but who is using these ported throttle bodies? What are your thoughts?

I'm getting ready to install PRC 260cc CNC heads and the TSP Stage 4 "F-35" N/A LS3 235/248, .649/.615, 111 LSA Camshaft.

Uhmm...I have no exp with those, but any heavily ported stock TB might surge a bit.

Id work that manifold opening and try to run a 102mm BT for no surge or other problem.

I have a BBK 102mm on a sheet metal mani and it runs flawless.

In your case I would invest in something else than a LS3 manifold which is gonna limit your rpm to 6500 and drop like a rock from there. LOD or something similar..that huge cam and ported heads need to rev to 7200+

The big gains are in the rod mod. Cleaning porting wont give so much, if any at all.

Bagger, you have a mean setup if ur going with the F35 cam with those PRC260cc heads.

That cam was designed for a MAX EFFORT NA LS3. Combined with the PRC260cc heads, you're on the right path to join the 500+ rwhp LS3 club.

The LS3 manifold will not make much power beyond 6500 and the setup you're wanting to get its designed to be spun up into the 7500 rpm range. Any factory LS3 manifold (stock or rod modded or ported) will suffocate that topend.

I would save my money and go with an L.O.D. at the minimum so you can spin that F35 and really see those PRC260s shine
