Damn, what an idiot.

I haven't looked at it yet but is there a way to sync the alarm to the app so that you get an alert on your phone if it goes off?

ETA: I was just looking at the onstar app and so far as I can tell you can use it to set off the alarm but there's no way to be notified if the alarm goes off. Am I missing something or is it really set up this poorly?

Yeah I didn't think the alarm would trigger the onstar app to go off but it was worth the investigation. Report today is my wheels showed up...I'll be checking in person Monday afternoon to see what's happening.

Not known yet, they are still waiting on tires to arrive, I'm hoping things get resolved this week.

Wow that sucks.

I would have just bite the bullet and bought new rims & tires and install them righ on the street. Seeing the Z06 get towed like that makes me gringe...

Yeah, it was bad enough seeing her laying belly down on the street.

So there was no "dragging." The underside never touched the flatbed nor did the rotors. The tires were backordered a MONTH on tire rack when this happened. Didn't hear anything today from the dealership.

It's about 10 degrees in DC now, I'm willing to let the dealership keep it over the weekend until it warms up. I don't want anything to do with that temperature and tire combination. I appreciate the warm wishes from all, there are a lot of haters elsewhere on the internet.

Schlock, great to hear your Z06 is back on solid rubber! And, unlike other forums I've experienced, this one is refreshingly supportive. Just an FYI, if the car is stored at the dealer inside where the tires are above 40 degrees, you can drive it home with only traction reduced a little bit (assuming dry pavement). Driving it will keep the tires warm enough to avoid cold damage until you reach home. I helped deliver a Z06 Saturday at my local dealership. The car was kept in the service bay, and the tire temp indicator stayed in the warm range the 15 miles the owner and I drove to the shop he was having Xpel installed at.

Ideally that'll be the case. They are working on getting the rocker panel repairs authorized so they can finish things up. Apparently three blocks under my car didn't do TOO much damage...
