I finally got the car and now I have the exhaust panel installed.
As I mentioned above the video doesn't show what wire to tap into.
The directions that came with it say to tap into the passenger side marker (which I did).
The video shows them pulling panels from the rear of what I would call the "trunk". When you tap into the side marker obviously this is not needed.
The instructions also mention a purple wire. There is no purple wire.
Here is what you need to know-
The panel goes in easy. 10 minutes max.
The wiring (if you have illuminated) will take you about an hour.
For wiring:
Follow splash guard install directions to remove the splash guard.. (these instructions are not included with the panel)... easy info to find online...
once you remove the splash guard remove the 2 screws near the bottom to pull away the wheel well.
At this point you want to use the 3 tabs on the inside of the marker to squeeze and push the marker out.
You'll notice the wiring colors into the marker are gray and black. Gray is positive and black is ground. The wiring colors for the LEDs to the panel are copper is positive silver is ground.

Wire it up... test by locking / unlocking your car with FOB.

Below is before, during and after pics.

PM me if you have any questions.

sorry... didn't mean to thread jack...

I installed the filler panel about six weeks ago and had to wait for warm weather to install the lower panel. I wired it into the side marker light with no problem. Since the car is LRG the wife wanted to have green lights on the panel.

I also just finished installing the polished, lighted door sills with the green LED's offered by American Car Craft. The installation video was very helpful and accurate. Drivers side took about thirty five minutes. The passenger side took a lot longer because the factory robot got carried away and covered up the drilling "sweet spot" mentioned in the video with the rubber adhesive that holds the panel to the frame. These are a well made, quality product that accents the green foot well and interior lighting that I've installed.
