Tighten Steering?

I road course my car quite a bit and have all the rear end suspension upgrades that are possible, but haven't really touched the front since sway bars were installed. I'm not looking to spend loads of money, but on a budget, what parts would help with making the steering feel tighter. It just feels a little looser than I would like it.

With spending a few dollars... The Pfadt spherical trailing arm bushings & Pfadt poly front lower control arm bushing sets will get you some better control up front!

I would start with radius arm bushings, Pedders or BMR. Very easy install. Also an upgraded strut, Bilstein, Pedders, Pfadt or even an OEM 1LE strut. A little more involved install but not bad.

I'm a little partial to Pfadt since I am running their bushings. And I would prefer the solid bushings; haven't checked lately, but last time I did, Pedders or BMR did not offer solid bushings, just polyurethane.

The Pfadt trailing arm (radius rod) bushings are spherical solid's... They actually offer a solid spherical control arm bushing full set, however, they are quite costly and do not recommend for the street car as they transmit more road noise. The trailing arm bushings will not transmit this additional noise so I recommend the solid trailing arms with the poly control arm bushings!

If you have any questions pyro just toss me a PM we'll get you all PFADT hooked up

Radius arm bushings are the same as front trailing arm bushings right? Just different name for it?

Don't forget the camper plates to get rid of that crappy stock strut tower mount that isn't bolted in and wiggles when cornering. Camper plates will further help to maintain the camper and caster while loading the front end.

That is true too. Pfadt offers a dual adjustable Caster/Camber set of plates. They are nice billet pieces, but just didn't suggest them as the OP said budget. If they are in the budget, add them !

I went with the Pedders HD Radius Rod Inserts. The full bush replacements are a little better I am sure. But the Inserts are easy to install in under an hour and make a noticeable difference in tightening up the steering.
