I spoke to him briefly about his corvette purchase. He said the same thing, about researching online, but once he got there they had 4 units for (at the time) with some kind of 10K markdown. Two in red and two in white. He picked up a red one. I assume the base one's you see on their site in white and red listed at 49K are the ones they are marking down to 39K.

Maybe Ill give them a call and find out...

Did end up giving them a call. Supposedly they have a few left in stock, all base model sticks for 39,999 and 699 dealer fee.
