Finding a lost car
Trying to locate a previously owned car without a VIN. Lived in Cal. for about 8 years. Does anyone know a way to go about asking the state for VIN's of previously owned cars in your name ? Is there any such record or way to go about it ? Thanks for any info Would like to try and buy it back !!!!! One of those stories we all have about selling a car to regret it later !!!!

If you ever had it serviced at a dealer, call them up and see if it's still listed under your name in their system.

That’s rough. I hope you’re able to track it down somehow. Good luck
