Well I won't be joining the ZL1 Family...

I ended up buying a 2014 Maserati Granturismo Sport - its black/black and is CPO and it is beautiful - and that sound...wow! I know it is not as fast and doesn't have as much HP as the ZL1 - but for the price I got it at I am happy with my choice.

I will continue to lurk on here and never know - I may be back in a few years. Enjoy your ZL1's - they are beautiful in their own right.

Cheers!

Gorgeous gorgeous cars. I can't imagine what it cost to maintain one though.

Just got rid of my '17 Maserati GT. To me, it was the biggest let down of any car I've owned, esp at the $160k price point. It's a dead stick and has ZERO tech. Yes, it has the sexiest exhaust note known to man and it's prob on of the best designed cars in the history of man kind, but it's just sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow. We only kept it for 3 months before we got tired of it. But, I hope you enjoy it.

2014... Have fun with repairs and maintenance once that thing goes out of any kind of warranty it might have left.

I’ve been looking through every thread on this site relating to zl1’s, and just about the only thing I know for sure is that if Kttxz06 ever makes it to the Chicago area I want to party with him. We got similar tastes in cars and I like his style......

haha, well, let's not mention how much $ i lose every buying cars so. It's a disease. Btw, I'm a bore. I sit on the computer all day long playing the crypto market. My friends think I'm a nerd and I play golf 3 days a week. I don't get out much. Oh yea, and I have a wife in Hawaii that I fly in every 2 months and she's back to Hawaii in 3 weeks so. My Doberman is my only true friend and she'll chew your fkn face off. I have a weird life that's for sure.

I was considering selling my ‘14CTSV coupe and buying a Maserati GranCabrio. The interior is immaculate, with unlimited carbon fiber options. Italian leather! Beautiful exhaust note!

But I couldn’t get past how much more I was paying for a vehicle that underperforms so much as a driving machine.

I kept the CTSV, bought a Maserati Levante SUV, and then bought my ZL1 convertible. Now, the slowest thing in the stable is my Maserati, and I have two fun daily drivers and I couldn’t be happier. In the end, OP, as long as you’re happy, that’s all that matters!
