Anyone else out there got an ls swap project? Lets see them! Here's my 1981 c10 with '02 trans am drivetrain. LS1 4l60e combo.

I miss my square body. I had an 85 i drove in high school. Yours is looking pretty good. It'd be a whole lot cooler with a TR6060 6-speed in it. I might know a guy who has one for sale. haha
But seriously, nice build. Any side pics? These wheels don't look like something I would think of but they work with the paint color.

I would love to have a 6 speed in it. I really considered it but ive spent so much on this thing that it just wasnt in the budget. Maybe down the road as i plan on keeping it for some time. Got a good deal on the complete f-body pullout and it was a pretty direct swap . A six speed wouldve been more money than i spent on the whole pullout by the time i modded my floorpan and got all the pedals and pieces. I got a six speed in the ss if i get the jones!

This is the next BIG project I want to do! Unfortunately these trucks are going up in price, and I haven't found mine yet. Very nice!

Thanks! This truck was bought new by my wifes grandfather so i kind of inherited it. My father in law said if i would keep it then i could have it. Hes really happy to see it coming back together again.

The day i drug it home. It had been sitting under a tree in the back yard with a blown head gasket since 1999.
