New guy in MN - 2019 ZL1 1LE

Hey guys,

Picking up my 2019 ZL1 1LE this afternoon. It will be a few months before i can really drive it, but excited to stare at it in my garage until then.

Already learned a lot over the past couple days, but hoping you guys can help me with a couple questions...

1. I have looked at over 100 of these cars on autotrader/dealer websites etc.. I have yet to see a bronze rear bow tie badge, they have all been black.... but mine has a bronze one... Was this an option, or maybe damaged in transit and replaced with whatever was on hand?

2. Replica wheels - I see a lot of options out there. My plan is to keep the OEM wheels and tires for the track, and put some 19" replicas (or 20" but the ride i am sure would be even worse) on the car with some slightly less aggressive tires. Do you guys have any recommendations for replicas wheels, and any tire preferences? I'm in Minnesota so i am trying to find a tire that does OK in the less than ideal ambient temps.

Any input is appreciated, thanks guys. Pics below (car was dirty)

Have you seen another black one? Just thinking maybe they don't put the black one on a black car. Check out factory reproductions for inexpensive replica wheels. I only drive mine once the salt is off the roads so still have the stock pirelli's for now. Have not looked into a more all-season type tire so can't help you there.

Yes, looked at a ton of black ones. Maybe i have the only bronze bow tie in the country on a ZL1 1LE who knows

I'm seeing a lot of replicas, unfortunately none that are as wide as the x11, x12 OEM wheels. And also not finding a good set of matching tires in the correct front/back sizes to match the narrower replica wheels. Either a good front or good back, but nothing matching. I'll keep looking.

I did not drive it home. I put it in the car hauler. I don't think i would have gotten far. I actually trailered it to my brother's house and will be keeping it in his garage until some of the ice/snow melts up my steep driveway.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
