Door Sill Panels

So I still haven't taken the plastic off of my door sill panels yet. Still trying to figure out how to protect them. Wrap them in clear vinyl perhaps? I want to keep them looking fresh as long as I own the car. Anybody have any suggestions?

When I had my windows tinted, I had the tint guy apply xpel on both my lighted door sills. So far so good. 40 bucks for both. No peeling.

is there any difference between the two, like look wise or price wise?

Just a follow-up, a month later and you still can't tell there's anything on there..... it's practically invisible unless you're a foot away...I'd vote for the xpel I used.

Anyone tried taping off and using clear plasti-dip? I have seen it mentioned but have not seen that anyone actually tried it.

To further this discussion.

I noticed this wear on the yellow motor trend car in their article. Obviously lots of different drivers over many miles.
But you can see the wear, scuffs and marks from everyone's boots and shoes.

I would guess that this same damage could happen to our cars, maybe after a longer period of time.

Would this EXPEL or 3M protective film work on the textured surface of the black plastic sill?
