JDP Motorsports | 2016 Camaro 1SS M6 | Development Vehicle!

Our 2016 Camaro 1SS M6 arrived late last night at Young Chevrolet! We ordered our car on August 16th and the long wait is OVER!!!!

I went up today to PDI it and pick it up at Young Chevrolet. The snow was flying so I took the truck and trailer. I haven't even driven the car yet on the road..

The car has 6 miles on it and it will be going on the dyno tomorrow for a baseline. We will also be testing a 2016 C7 M7 car back to back to see what the actual power delta is on the same day using the same dyno.

Stay tuned!!!!!

Kind regards,

Jordan Priestley

I appreciate it!!! It is a 1SS M6 with NPP! I like them down and dirty! We'll be developing packages and testing products like we did with our 5th Gen "Frankey".

I haven't seen a back to back of a brand new C7 vs a brand new 6th Gen so we'll make it so! I am curious myself.

Can't wait to see what you guys come up with!

I'm also curious to see how the C7 and 6th gen compare when run on the same day, same dyno.

I'll put some break-in mile on the dyno before I go WOT.

I appreciate it! It is a beautiful car and we can't wait to start the modding!

Just curious...I think the car will likely dyno showing good numbers like all the rest, but wouldn't a broke in car show slightly better numbers? Just a thought running through my head is all.

Valid point. We will be running some miles on the cars before we go Ham Sandwich on them. What is "broke in" though? You could as 10 people on camaro5 and get 9 different answers. Our goal is to compare two cars with almost identical miles, almost identical "break ins", on the same dyno and on the same day.

We plan to put the Camaro vs. Corvette power argument to rest, today.

I'm pulling for the 6th Gen!

All the best,

I like the way you think lol...sounds good cant wait.

Make sure you do like 3 or 4 pulls with each and get an average. That way it is clear what they are putting down.
