I've had friends paint stuff for me before and the problem is that you may or may not feel like a jerk if they give you a good price and the work is substandard and you complain, I won't go down that road again, I want someone to hold liable when I see a goober in the paint and tell them to do it again right

Maybe a little hight.....but if the work is good, its worth it. Couple examples I have experienced. ...My dealer quoted me $535 to remove and repaint font facial. My '05 GTO needed front facia replaced and painted, $1500.

When it comes to products and services, you have 3 choices. Quality, price and speed.
Pick any 2! |

I paid $1200 to have the entire front bumper & GM GFX front lip painted. This included labor and the new rivets to reattach the GFX. Shop was top notch and results were excellent

Macco's can do it for $79 bucks .
But you get what you pay for. You seem to know what your talking about so I dont think you need anyone's advice . Depends on how picky you are? Maybe the shop knows you are going to look at the car with a microscope and they added the extra cost to make sure it is done right |
