2015 Hot Rod Power Tour - Who Is Going?

Who from Camaro5 is planning to go on the 2015 Hot Rod Power Tour? I live 45 minutes from Madison Wi where the tour is starting this year. A month ago I signed up and originally planned to just make the first 2 or 3 stops. My wife did not think she could get the full week off of work. Also being disabled I did not think I would be physically able to handle more than that. Well, the wife put in for the full week off and it was approved so we have now made plans to do the full tour. I am really looking forward to the tour and will be happy even if I can only make the first few stops. I can't wait to meet a lot of great car enthusiasts and all the great cars they drive. So I am wondering if anyone else from Camaro5 is planning to do the tour or even just make it to one of the stops near them?

I'll be going. My best friend lives just south of St. Louis. He's going to take the train up to Madison and we will make the first three stops and end up at his house. I have 2 uncles who do the Long Haul every year with their cars. I can't justify a week of off work though.

Here's another thread about Hot Rod Power Tour!

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=390824

I've been the last 4 years. It's great. The first year I only planned to do 4 stops, but had to do one more....Indianapolis. The next 3 years, I did the Long Haul and plan to do it again this year. It's a great experience, overwhelming for sure. GM plays a big part and you will see lots of late model Camaros, as well as almost anything else you can imagine!

Thank you for the link. I ment it was too late for me as I have already alloted all of my vacation time. I will plan for next year though. I can easily get a week off and it would be ablast.

The tour starts in Madison, WI, then to Champaign, IL, then St Louis, MO (Gateway Itn'l), then Memphis, then Birmingham, AL, then Gulfport, MS, and ends in Baton Rouge, LA (Gonzalez, LA). Several dragstrips and some auto-cross too.

Guess you got the link. The tour typically starts where or near where it ended the previous year, so likely will start in Baton Rouge next year!

My son and I are going and will join up in Gulfport MS for the last two days. Hope to see some Camaros. Does anyone know how they set up the venues or is it just park where you can when you get there.

Really depends on the venue. Usually it's kinda all over since there's usually somewhere between 3,000 to 5,000 cars.............There will be a large vendor midway and sometimes food vendors, that depends too
