In our house most of the Camaros are in my name!! So when we got the 2010 I waited for the 2012 45th Anniversary convertible!

We traded her car in for the Camaro, She now drives my Older Silverado and she gets the pick of the next new car,,,, Unless I can talk her into the new Stingray. We have to wait for one of our Adult children to move out for driveway space then fight for Garage!

When your spouse wants a car, get them a car. You're only asking for a specific car, so the difference between a Camaro and a similarly sized vehicle in price is marginal at best. The most you can reasonably negotiate is the sacrifice in fuel economy and the cost of performance parts. Other than that, there's no conceivable reason to have to negotiate the purchase of a nice car for you when you've probably given your spouse whatever they wanted to drive in the past.

My wife got a Arcadia Deni. Her 2004 minivan had 155,000 miles on it. She paid her dues

I have my Camaro because my wife said I earned it, I was going to sell one of my trucks and she said keep the trucks and go buy the Camaro you want.....

WORKED FOR ME....

I LOVE MY WIFE, AND SHE DIDNT EVEN ASK FOR ANYTHING,

But she dosn't have to ask for anything, she just goes and buys what ever she wants anyways...

P.S. I did buy her a new dust mop
Does that count ?
